Dr Mujtaba Morshed

About Dr Mujtaba

Dr Mujtaba Morshed is a GP Registrar who completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2021. He grew up between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, and completed his undergraduate studies in psychology and life sciences at the University of Toronto, Canada.  

He has trained and worked across a range of metropolitan and regional settings in NSW, including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Blacktown, Mount Druitt and Bathurst Hospitals, as well as general practice training in Port Macquarie, Kempsey and Kiama. Through this, he has gained broad, practical experience caring for patients across different communities.

Dr Morshed enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in mental health, chronic disease management and preventative healthcare. He values continuity of care and takes a calm, attentive and patient-centred approach.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing D&D, watching football when Liverpool are doing well, travelling and spending time with his family.
